OH, but there are 150,000 people in Turku, not 20,000! It's surprising how many inhabitants there are actually in Turku. The population of Cardiff is about 300,000 but it feels like there are a lot more people in there because I lived in the centre where there are people everywhere.

You've gone hiking! I'm so envious... I'd really like to go for one of those hiking trips in enormous natural parks, you know, where there's wildlife and mountains and woods and everything. I'm talking about the kind you see on TV, in American documentaries etc. I'm sure Lapland or Eastern Finland would be just fine, too, but I want MOUNTAINS!! Fucking hell, I have got to visit you at some point and we'll go hiking somewhere.

To me you are quite European, Jess. When I think of an American, I think of Todd, and you certainly are nothing like him :D
