Have you ever ruined the ending or given away plot developments in a book, movie, or tv show by telling someone who hasn't seen or read it what happens? Has anyone ever done this to you?

Heheh, yeah, it really is one of the seven sins of fandom. Hints, I can handle. Hints are okay, but just getting it out there to show off knowledge that could ruin the enjoyment and entertainment of others? Nah.

geh, I remember that revelation. I wasn't so much as shocked as I was annoyed that it was spoiled. That was not cool what that jerk did. Not even a cut... tsk!

Grrrr, I hate/fear spoilers to an unhealthy extent. Someone who I didn't even know spoiled the 7th book for me. I finished it because I only had 5 chapet left, but I haven't been able to read it a second time, so I know how you feel. TT_____TT

Wow, that sux... you were much closer to the ending than I was, so that's really disappointing. Nowadays, I try not to read any discussion topics anymore. I used to enjoy going in them to meet other fans, but half of them nowadays are spoilmongers that it's discouraging.

I know right? It's like, I can't really fangirl about something with other people until I've finished it, and then it feels like I rush to finish it instead of savoring it to reduce the risk of spoilers. But oh well, we just have to filter it and manage somehow. ._.

Yeah, not much one can do about it. Unless you put up a No Spoilers rule, which becomes pretty redundant because everyone's individual. I mean... yeah, when it first comes out, it's a spoiler, but a year later, if it's revealed, new fans will be spoiled. Urgh... so troublesome!
