and ah yes, the Juliana Hatfield crush. she was not my first, hence I didn't list her - I don't think I was into grunge yet. for a young, female-oriented rock guitarist in the grunge era, JH was kind of Da Bomb, especially since she kicked just about every other (male) grunge guitarist's bum (except maybe for Mike McCready and Nigel Whatzisname from Bush) for songwriting and solos. And she's hotttttt.
...if only she didn't write some insipid-ass, childish lyrics, but perhaps that'd be too much to hope for in grunge...
