So, thanks to X's help, Zero managed to quickly find himself a job that he'd 1) enjoy, 2) would keep him occupied, and 3) was more suited to the skills he and strength he already had

[There seems to be an odd cat clawing its way up the lifeguard chair to examine you a little curiously. What was so odd about this cat? Mostly that it was flaming from its ears. Most cats don't do that after all. He seems immediately distracted by that braid, eying with the look of a cat totally about to pounce. As for the moment his bitchowner seems to be no where in sight.]
Zero noticed something fuzzy out the corner of his vision and looked down, blinking at a strange orange and white tabby cat with flaming ears crawling determinedly up the chair. He kept an eye on it for a moment in case it would need help up, glancing every so often back to the small crowd on the beach to make sure all was well.
He figured it was a resident stray, and he also noticed it seemed focused on his braid in particular. Heh, typical feline. The blond Hunter decided to just let the little miscreant do what it wanted for now.
The minute Zero felt the weight pull down his braid he cracked a crooked grin on one side. Yup, cats would be cats.
"Just don't mess it up too much, this took a long time to do," he warned, reaching a hand down to lightly scritch the kitten's back. He blinked when, upon a closer look, the kitten actually had spots instead of stripes. Hn. Perhaps a local wild cat?
