Yeah...Fios makes you sign a 1 year contract or pay like $40 more per month. And contract, to me, signals "haha you're stuck with us, sucker, see if we ever help you again."
When we had comcast in my last apartment, the tech guys would always leave the big main box open. This box was in the trash room, shared by about 80 apartments. So, somebody without cable would come along, unattach our cable, put it to their apartment. Thanks, bitches. So we saw more than we wanted of the comcast man. And then, when we'd use our phone, we'd lose internet. Called them for a that a few times, too.
do i need to tell you the woes of my bill shooting from $100 to $400 within the matter of a cycle? or me calling to cancel them in september and STILL getting a bill as late as january? how about when i called to get their service again and my appointment was set up one day, the price the lady gave me didn't even SOUND right, even if i was getting the bestdealever (my bill should've been ~$200 and she said i'd only be paying $75) and, after cancelling my appointments and even getting a confirmation phone call and everything, no one shows up and they tell me that my appointment was never set?
i LOATHE comcast more than i hate directv and i HATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE directv. if those assholes send me ONE MORE REMOTE, i'm going crazy.
yeah...I got a confirmation call for my initial appointment. And then they don't bother to show up. They kept fucking with our bills before, too...taking off credits that they'd given us for other issues. If it ever shot up like that, though, the smashing would begin.
They all tell me I'll be paying $75 for what should be $125. And now we have no installation fee and free HBO...and my roommate says if they don't come tomorrow, she's demanding free dvr, too.
