oh and Same here. What does bondage have to do with sailing?

better tie that Jib and boom down before it whacks you on the head and knocks you off the boat. Talk about an ultimate SAM.

In the first method, the boat is first placed in a deep broad reach (sailing almost directly away from the wind) so the mainsail is shielding the jib's (front sail's) wind. This decreases the wind pressure on the jib and allows for easier furling. The jib is rolled in, keeping some tension on the sheets to tighten the roll and to keep the sail from flogging (strong whipping of the sail caused by the wind). Under power, the boat is then headed into the wind and the mainsail is lowered and flaked over the boom.

This sounds like a fun saturday night to me. Bondage, flogging, flaking over a boom....

Oh, but don't you know, any arse off the street can read a couple of books, practise a few knots, swing a flogger and call themselves a Bondage Master, never mind that nobody else in the community even knows who the fuck they are.
Also, you forgot one big requirement: People have to know, recognize and appreciate your work. Being Internationally known definitely helps. Oh, and I think giving onesself titles like "Bondage Master" is an automatic disqualification.
