Fic Recs: Gilmore Girls (Lit)

I'm not entirely sure how many people on my FList are at all interested in the Gilmore Girls fandom, but having read a number of lovely Rory/Jess Lit fic lately, I felt the need to rec a few pieces :)

glad to any time. BTW, I adore your icon :) It's the joy of a grown up Lit kiss without the mess that came after.

Thank you. I love it too! By the way, I hope you're reading Lovely Things, which I think is the best current Lit fic out there (and one of the best of all time). I also am enjoying the new (and old) Lit fic by the author of The Seven Deadly Sins: A Series of Lit Vignettes.

I'm absolutely reading both. The only reason neither has been included is that I don't tend to rec WIPs. I really am enjoying Lovely Things though.

Thanks for these recs (and for friending me!). :)

I always like to hear about good Literati fics, even if they do tend to make me cry. I know this wasn't actually on your list, but I'd never read 'Lovely Things' before (don't really read much at FF.net), and I thought I'd take a quick look. I loved it and just spent my entire afternoon at work reading all 13 chapters in one go... Thank god I'm the only one in the office today. Thanks for indirectly reccing it (and thanks to popculturespong too).

I'm glad you found something worth reading! I'm always happy to be a distraction from the office.

And yay for new friends! I'm excited to share my GG and Heroes love. Also, I noticed you list Howie Day as a musical interest. That means you rock. :)

You can never have enough GG and Heroes loving!

I tend to hear songs on TV, look up the singer and buy the album. Which means I end up listening to obscure American artists that are completely unheard of in the UK. I think Howie Day was discovered through One Tree Hill.

LOVE your icon! If only it was true (though in my head, it is!).
