Fic Recs: Gilmore Girls (Lit)
I'm not entirely sure how many people on my FList are at all interested in the Gilmore Girls fandom, but having read a number of lovely Rory/Jess Lit fic lately, I felt the need to rec a few pieces :)

"He’s so gentle that she thinks maybe he’s never really wanted to hurt her, not in the honest-to-God way, and there’s less Othello in him than she imagined." If I could live inside this sentence I would. Fantastic and painful.

I am in love with this. Each line, each scene is powerful on its own, but put them together and it's happiness in paragraph form. "But they liked to give each other credit because, underneath it all, they were both romantics who liked the way the whole idea worked out on paper."

I love how her prose flows. It never feels like contrived poetry hiding in paragraph form. It’s evocative and simple and full of lovely statements that get right to the heart of the issue. Love it.
