Florence for those of you that don't speek another language. Florence was a nice break after running around Roma. We were only there for two days but we saw a lot and just enjoyed the nice weather, always a good idea!

Sarah's dad let us use his hotel points for one night at the Roma Hilton!!! (Which I'm very thankful for!!!!!!) It was AWESOME!!!! They upgraded us to an executive suite because they didn't have any good views of the city. So we were able to use the executive lounge where there was free food and drinks all day... darn, I didn't have to buy a 4 euro ( Read more... )

I started out my spring break by going to Roma with two other american girls from Caen, Sarah and Gabby. Gabby is new this semester. First we found a new train station in Paris... new only because we'd never heard of it- Paris Bercy. We took the night train from Paris to Rome. We were in a sleeper car with three other people. I went to Paris with Rachel (a friend from Tenn.) to pick up her mom at the airport. We stayed the night at Formule 1. It's sorta the Motel 6 of this chain... but it was nicer than some of the motels I've stayed in.
