Room 211 - Saturday Morning

Naomi woke up fairly early on Saturday Morning like she usually did. She was looking forward to the day ahead and decided to start by playing her favourite game, Katis-Kot.

She got the game out and, holding Flotter close to her, she sat on her bed and began playing.

Billy was sploring and looking for terrists. He wasn't finding any. And while that might be construed as a good thing, it wasn't very exciting.

Ooh! His friend with the bumpy head! "Hi Naomi!" he waved from the doorway. "Watcha doing?"

"Hi Billy!" Naomi waved back, "I'm playing Katis-Kot, do you want to play with me?"

"Sure." he agreed happily and came in. "How do you play?"

Naomi smiled, "it's pretty easy to play," she said as she showed him the game board. She then gave handwavy instructions on how to play.

Billy listened very closely. "Okay." he nodded when she was done. "I think I gots it."

Naomi smiled brightly, it wasn't often that she had someone to play Katis-Kot with, "what colour do you want to have?" she asked.

"Uhhhhhmmmmm blue. No, not blue. Red."

[ktarian_wildman]

"Okay, I'll be Green," Naomi said, "you can go first," she said to Billy.

"Okay." he said, and considered, then put his piece on the board.

After some thought Naomi then made her move on the board.

[l1ttle_billy]

"Oooh, nice move." he nodded approvingly. He had no idea. He understood the game, but the strategy part was still penetrating. He made his next move.

Naomi smiled, "thank you," she said as she also made her next move.

Hmmmm, he made another move, intending to block her from doing what he thought she was planning to do.

Naomi was stumped for a minute as she tried to figure out where she could go but then she saw another possible move and moved her piece there.

[l1ttle_billy]

Billy didn't catch the strategic importance in that move, so instead he made a move that he believed would give him an advantage.

Naomi moved her piece forward, she had seen a way that she would be able to claim 'Kadis-Kot' if she kept moving in that same direction.
