Room 211 - Saturday Morning

Mar 29, 2008 21:51

Naomi woke up fairly early on Saturday Morning like she usually did. She was looking forward to the day ahead and decided to start by playing her favourite game, Katis-Kot.

She got the game out and, holding Flotter close to her, she sat on her bed and began playing.

[ooc: door and post are both open!]

weetiny weekend, wtf fandom?, room 211

Billy was sploring and looking for terrists. He wasn't finding any. And while that might be construed as a good thing, it wasn't very exciting.

Ooh! His friend with the bumpy head! "Hi Naomi!" he waved from the doorway. "Watcha doing?"

Billy did not see what she was planning, but he'd spotted his own route to victory and he was taking it.

Since it appeared that Billy hadn't figured out what she was planning, Naomi continued moving her own piece. She only needed to move it a few more places.

Hey! Billy caught on to what she was up to, but he decided to press his offense rather than block her. He thought he could get to his goal before she did.

He was wrong.

Naomi had now noticed what Billy was trying to do but she was sure that she would be able to claim 'Kadis-Kot' before he did. She moved her piece forward.

Billy bit his lip. He wasn't so sure now he'd be able to get to his goal before her. But it was now too late to change his mind.

Naomi only needed to move her piece once to get to the end, "Kadis-Kot!" she said once she got it.

D'oh! "Darn." Billy winced. "You're really good at this." He had briefly felt the urge to knock the board off the table. But he didn't because he knew that's what his daddy would do.

"Thanks," Naomi said, "you did pretty good as well," she was rather glad that he didn't knock the board off the table.

"Yeah it's neat. Lots more fun than chess."

"Kadis-Kot's my favourite game," Naomi said, "I don't get to play it with other people that often though,"
