today was a good day. erin and i had to wake up at 8 to go down to a baptist church to volunteer. we organized and sorted school supplies for katrina victims in memphis that couldn't afford to buy school supplies. it was pretty fun and i felt like i was actually doing something to help my community. amazing what doing something for people less ( Read more... )

today i went to see a documentary of jeff buckley at the brooks art mueseum. it was really well done. i'd heard a few of his songs but never knew who he was. after the documentary i've started to get into his music. i want to go buy one of his cds tomorrow. but later on today i taught chase how to cook. it was pretty fun. :). four days until i ( Read more... )

i spent 4 1/2 hours in my hair salon today. they had to fix what i did with blonde hair dye out of the box. it's kinda blonde again now. maybe i'll put up pictures... after i take some.

went back to the doctor this morning to see if i have strep on top of mono and i don't thank god! but she but me on steroids and i got pain meds and this gargle stuff to numb my throat so hopefully i'll be back to 100% soon!
but i get to start easing back into my social life so hooray!

i have mono.... don't know from where but i have it. camp marymount starts tomorrow and i won't be able to go. i've been going to the same camp every summer since third grade. this year was going to be my last year ever. i wanted to be a CIT next year too. who knows if they'll hire me next summer if i couldn't go my LYC year ( Read more... )
