We win at democracy!Anyway, while watching the election coverage I did a bit of Star Castle work. I hacked together enough input system to detect and handle keypresses and releases, attached it to the shape class, and now I have a little ship I can fly around the screen. 140 million people turned out to vote. Take that, countries with less than 140 million enfranchised citizens! Ha!

(Seriously, though: I came home tonight around midnight Eastern and learned that there were over 100 million votes counted, with over 25% of the votes still to be counted. My jaw dropped.)

Indeed. While I figured there'd be a larger than usual turnout, those kind of numbers are even more than I expected. Once I knew for certain who'd win, the next thing I thought of was "I wonder what the voter turnout was". Can't wait to see the official numbers for that.
