Anyway, while watching the election coverage I did a bit of Star Castle work. I hacked together enough input system to detect and handle keypresses and releases, attached it to the shape class, and now I have a little ship I can fly around the screen. This really is trivial, you know? Tomorrow I'll either clean up the existing code or look into how sound's gonna work. It wouldn't surprise me if GLUT has its mitts in that, too, but I shall leave that as a surprise.
