Funniest bit to me is Barbossa didn't HAVE a first name until Johnny made it up ad lib and they kept it xD

My only problem with the script is I felt like the writers either didn't see the first three movies in their entirety, or they didn't take good enough notes. Not only were there discrepancies in Will's characterization and the lore of the Dutchman's curse, but there were big conflicts in Jack's backstory, it seemed. It wasn't a bad script, but it could've been a lot better with continuity (it's not like a TV show with 100 episodes that can lose details - when you only have 4 previous movies, the jagged bits are going to be a lot more noticeable ( ... )

Yeah, that is true. The weird things regarding The Dutchman curse was a bit annoying. Despite the very interesting HUGE question to what happened to Will and his crew... This is still a mystery I can't stop thinking about. Because SOMETHING must have happened to make him all barnacled and almost afraid of his crew ( ... )
