What a lot of travelling you did! And Alexandra was so good through it all, well done :) I don't know if I'd be game to travel so far with a baby. Maybe next time people can come and visit YOU!

Sure did. :-) And really, it did work out great. Alexandra is used to travel, since my mom lives 2 hours from here. :-) Sure, more hours driving now, but since she's been doing those 2 hour trips since she was... A month? Two months, maybe? It worked great. :-)

And you'll get used to most things, really. One thing at a time. ;-)

I'm glad your first extended travel with baby went well. Soon you'll be old hands at it.

Your friend's wife does sound very overprotective. How are her kids ever going to manage when they go to school if she smothers them like that?

It worked surprisingly well, really. I was most worried about the sleeping arrengments, but that worked out great to!
