Because the man does not update his page o' photos often enough. Anyway. Today's image incorporates some "d'aww" with some "huh" and a bit of photogeekery thanks to photographer Jody Ake. Those types of photos always freak me out, simply because I know that most of the folks in said photos were dead when the photos were taken.

A girl I used to be friends with had a photo album of those dead people pictures. Her mom bought it at a flee market.

Very nice and old skool photo: reminds me of the photojournal by someone in National Geographic who went around the modern-day US backwoods taking tin-type photographs (a process about as old as wet collodion if not older) of the ranches and their ranchers.

I can haz politics filter? Queer leftiness is perfectly fine: I hear quite a bit of it from other flisties of mine.

Mmm, photgeekery. I ganked a camera from my mother which is not truly ancient but is at least from the 60s. I forgot what type it is, may need to dig it out of the closet.
