Yay for skirts! I finally branched out this year and got some capri length pants! I don't think I can go back now, now that I know how nice and cool it is not to wear pants all summer. Still working on the right length of skirt that won't make me look weird. I tried leggings but those somehow make my legs look even more weird. I do the dress-over-pants thing quite a bit. I just keep forgetting to shave my legs. It's never mattered much before now, and whatever, the hair is blondish anyway.

Anyway, we should start a friggin shoe line. My summery shoes have about two months before I've worn a hole in the bottom of the right one :( And a fashion line.

I actually said fuck it within the past couple years and started wearing shorts during the summer. What I look like is waaay less important than how comfortable I am, these days. And long skirts/dresses... I've been all over those the past couple summers. But short skirts seem like... like I'm making too much of an "effort" to be considered pretty, I guess? For awhile I felt like it was something I wasn't worthy of wearing because my legs will never be pretty and that's what skirts are made for. But you know what, fuck that. The skirt I bought is cute and I like it, and that's what's most important.

Now to get used to feeling like my ass is hanging out all over the place, despite the fact that there is indeed a good foot of fabric hanging below it...

Hi, Kelley.

Saw your beautiful pictures in a common community and started to look at your LJ. Scrolled down to see this entry. I'm a paraplegic (wheelchair) who used to wear those braces as a kid.

Hope you'll add me. Thanks. :)
