Suze Orman is kind of one of my personal heroes. I don't watch a heck of a lot of TV but how about barbra walters? or for younger people "dharma" from dharma and greg? Charleze therone rocked it for a while, Hallie berry rocked it...

The problem with short hair is that it grows out, and the problem with short hair in hollywood is that different roles and parts require different lengths.

Point out that portia de rossi dated ellen and she has lots of hair.

Short hair is also insanely hard to pull off. I tried it. It blew.

I think there's quite a bit that could be said about this.

Typically long hair is associated with femininity. This is a huge cultural thing that has been in place for ages. Today's media isn't really going to buck that a whole lot.

On the other hand, shorter hairstyles are becoming more popular for women. I work part time in a book store and I was surprised at how many magazines we carry on the topic of short sexy hairstyles for women.

And I'll be seeing if I can pull of a short to no longer than shoulder length hairstyle.
