hosting a cookout

8 years ago when I bought my house, I wanted a nice modern kitchen so I have people over, host events, etc. Ok, so I've only attempted to do such things a few times. Saturday I am having a cookout, and wouldn't you know it, it's supposed to rain. I had hoped that we could spend the day outside, but Mother Nature may have other plans. We'll see

I survived my rainy day cookout. Had about 20 people even with the rain. Had about half the meat leftover-- never cooked it so I packed it all up into the freezer. It seemed to go well and I think people had fun.
