I'm not entirely sure, but sounds like the codecs. VLC have more than others, that's why it tends to play everything. What program did you use to rip/convert?

I used MactheRipper to rip and then VisualHub to convert. ;_____; The codecs, huh? :/ Hmm... This is going to extremely bug me so I hope I can figure it out, lol.
