As of today, the doctors have decided not to put a PIC line in little Chris. Since he is progressing along so well, they don't expect he will need an IV for much longer so a PIC line would be an unnecessary risk. This is great news since he is gaining weight, taking in food and doing all of the normal functions. The biggest task next will be ( Read more... )

I am ... tired. Mostly because I am still sick but not quite as sick as I was yesterday. The guys showed up, one at a time and we slowly turned our living room into a sensual mess of colored wires, power strips and beautifully glowing monitors and puter cases. I have had this crud creeping up my lungs, into my throat and now into my sinuses... This sucks. I hate being sick. I wish I could just yack a few times and be done with it but Nooooo.
