KPBS says Miramar AFB is taking horses (don't know about other large animals). Also, on their Twitter feed, list a couple phone numbers of people who have room for horses.

again, from KPBS; VCA animal hospital will board pets for victims of these fires for free through November 5th. Call first.

Per cbs8, SDSU is requesting faculty stay on campus until 2pm. WTF? They're being even worse than UCSD was during the Cedar fire.
