um, Lex, honey, compared to you, you're father is merely vaguely intrigued.

Ummm, how do you figure?? If it wasn't for Lionel, Lex wouldn't have even *known* about the stones. Luthorcorp was obviously looking into them long before Lex was. Lionel had been funding digs all over the world. Lionel has been one step ahead of everyone with regards to the stones the entire time - supplied Lana with the information to go after the stone in China, knows enough to refer to her as 'the Chosen One'. I think Lionel was far more obsessed with the stones than Lex - especially since he was quite willing to kill Genevieve to get his hands on one, and not care what happened to Lana in order to get his hands on the other. Lex's draw to the stones has been more because of their connection to the caves than anything to do with the stones themselves.

First of all, I can't believe I initially wrote "you're father," as opposed to your father! I NEVER do that! I HATE that! *SO ashamed*

Yes, you're absolutely correct. I should really have clarified. I was thinking of this episode, because Lex's NEED to find the stones seemed to have grown considerably from previous episodes. He's been obsessed for quite some time (Lex has quite the exceptional obsessive personality), but in "Commencement" it appeared as if he had gone off the deep end, especially in his interactions with Chloe (dragging her rather violently off to the caves with him) and Lana (particularly the conversation by the helicopter. Lex's "evil" subtext has gotten less and less veiled throughout the run of the show (especially this season), but he basically (despite protestations to the contrary with Lana) threw away all pretense of friendship/respect/civil interaction in his quest for the stones during "Commencement." I think his rather blatant nefarious behavior, specifically those acts of active aggression (with ( ... )

Sorry, I don't watch Smallville but you seem to have a nice time with it. Now that you say Lex has finally come out to his full evilness as Skywalker to Darth Vader maybe I actually watch the show.

I more interested in your friend of friend outing people. While I really think Elijah Wood hmm... the guys can have him as he cute like puppies are cute, not my thing but Hayden is beautiful than handsome so I hoping for swinging both since I wouldn't kick him out of bed. But that is the problem isn't it. Because while it interesting of the sexuality you may realize that you may never have him.

Hope this make sense since I tend to babble.

PS. Am I the only person who thinks Brad Pitt is attractive in an American sort of way but he just does nothing for me.

Brad Pitt does nothing for me, either. In my case, because he looks like my little brother. Ick. :)
