Not sure who he's avenging, but the look works very well for me!

I've been reading Captain America: Winter Soldier over the last week or so - about an issue/chapter during my coffee break. With all the things I'm hearing about this production (Bucky Barnes, Cosmic Cube, etc.) I'm really very curious how much of that storyline will work in to this

LOVE Captain America: Winter Soldier. I can not believe that Ed Brubaker managed to make Bucky Barnes so f-ing cool, can you?

I haven't finished it yet, of course, but yeah, it's really good thus far. And surprising. Bucky always seemed like such a doofus before. But Brubaker is a very talented dude.

Poor Jack Munroe, though. Always liked him :(

They've done a terrific job of transforming the costume into something a real human being can wear without looking ridiculous. (I doubt an actual human being can pull off the comic book Capt. America costume, not in our more body image conscious age.)

Agreed. One of the fun things about all these comic book movies is to see how they take illustrations of something and do their best to make them realistic. And the Captain America outfit really seems WWII authentic.

I have actually seen that old Cap movie. It's actually not too bad. Not blockbuster, but better than you'd expect, at least from my memory of watching it twenty years ago.

I really like the costume, even with the army helmet mask (though it took me a bit to get used to that). And he uses guns, too, which incorporates Ultimate Captain America into the mix. Hey they did that with Nick Fury, right?
