Books I Want to Read This Summer

Jun 24, 2010 13:18

Currently, I'm almost done with the Paolo Bacigalupi's The WindUp Girl (which I really like, despite it taking me FOR-E-VER to read. I blame this on all the short stories I've been reading lately). But once I finish that, here's what's next on the old TBR Bedside Pile:

Kid vs. Squid, by some dude Greg van Eekhout.
Kraken, by China Mieville
Federations ( Read more... )

my reading pile/stack, books, reading lists

Kid v. Squid and 100,000 Kingdoms are on my TBR pile too.

I have one more to add to yours. A not-yet-released title from a totally fantastic writer. I'm told she sparkles, but not in that vampire-ish way. Oh, and she's me. And the book's mine. Just in case you didn't guess.
:-P

Your book is the trump-all book. When it comes in the mail, every other book gets put by the wayside :)

You needn't say it, fair witch, though it is appreciated :)

>> So what are you taking to the beach to read this summer?

What's a beach?

Oh, and I have two books to add to your pile. Neither of them are by Terri, though. At some point, I will make it to a post office during business hours, and they will wend their way to you. So, maybe they should go on your list for autumn, instead.

I know you know where at least one is :)

That is very sweet of you, man. Yay, for Autumn reading! I have a whole other stack for that, too, but anything you send will receive the utmost consideration :)
