I admit, I was trying to remember female cast members Sawyer hadn't slept with. Sun, Libby, Claire, and Penny all come to mind. Although they're all kind of spoken for, so probably not.
But yeah. Kate, Ana Lucia, Juliet, Charlotte. It's somewhat surprising Shannon's boyfriend wasn't Sawyer in this timeline, too.
I was thinking Smokey's "My mom was a bad mom" thing was some sort of sympathy act, trying to get Kate to do what he wants, and wasn't true. But perhaps it was true. I can see how Mom Smokey wouldn't be the best mom in the world.
"Eat your peas or I'll turn into black smoke!" "Yes, mother" (quivering in fear)
Sawyer constantly telling each side the truth was interesting to me, and then when it was revealed he was just going to play the two sides against each other (in a series of cons) - I thought that fit just perfectly. But how many people would he *actually* take on the sub with him? It sounded like he was thinking Just Kate.
Well, her, and whatever other gals want to come along and have a go at Sawyer.
Yeah...the whole mother is weird. Although I think the parallel to Claire (who incidentally, Locke-Ness Monster helped drive insane) was a good touch.
When I first saw the episode, I thought Sawyer was talking about everyone else except for Locke. But it seems like I misunderstood, as a lot of people are speculating it's one canoe full of people. Which is somewhat baffling...the few dozen survivors could all fit on the submarine, I'd think.
I am totally with you on the Sawyer/Miles cop show spinoff, the caveat being Juliet must be involved. The Sayid/Hurley duo from last season probably wouldn't have worked for too long, but it was fun. Maybe the whole purpose of the sideways stories is to pitch us different spinoff ideas.
And that Richard Alpert episode better be The Shit or there are going to be a lot of pissed off fans. Right now, it looks like he's going to explain *everything* about the island (which I'm doubtful about, although hopefully we'll get some pretty good insight.)
But yeah, I can't help being giddy about it either :) (It helps, I suppose, that Nestor Carbonell says it was very satisfying for his character.)
I am kind of surprised considering so many of the actors killed off the show, how many have agreed to come back for parts in this final series. It's kind of classy all around. (Although I suppose it could be desperation, too.)

Okay, I'm jealous too.

Yes, Juliet being inovlved would be cool. Have you been watching V? I admit, I didn't watch anymore after the pilot...
I remember Sayid/Hurley! That has promise, too. Maybe there could be two spin-offs with occasional crossovers!

And yes, I really need to know WTF is going on with Sayyid, or whatever's left of Sayyid, or what's in Sayyid's body. Gah!
Alpert next week! Whee!
Okay, that's as coherent as I'm capable of getting at this point.
