I, like many of you, knew it was coming. I just thought I would have more time. Yes, I am talking about the makeover the new owners have given Delicious.com. I'm not ready to cry yet --- I'm still in shock & I'm trying to believe in rainbows & unicorns & pots of gold just landing in my open arms... :D I'm willing to be somewhat delusionally hopeful for about a week. I can give them a week....man, I hope I can give them a week. *hangs head* The unicorns are fleeing even as I type on here. LOL!
Actually, I'm groaning at the work ahead of me with fixing my tags -- thank goodness, I don't have a lot of "unacceptable" symbols in them, but my word count tags are going to drive me over the wall like they did over at Diigo (of course, Diigo had a whole 'nother pot of potatoes in addition to that). I'm also trying to plan some work-arounds barring the absence of my tag bundles, but so far my plans end up with me doing a whole bunch of re-naming with too-long tags, which is scary by itself. (OOoooh!! I just had a thought on that... it's still going to be massive re-naming, but the possibilities are fantabulous!! Thanks in advance if it works!! *hugs*)

Glad to help with the sum up of fail. I can imagine the dismay because your delicious was so organized. The more I looked at at the new site, the more horrified I was. I miss my network so much already and it has only been *gasp* two days.

You've managed to sum up every feeling of discord I have for Delicious right now, but do so with as much eloquence as is necessary to actually sound marginally knowledgeable about the things of which you speak, whereas I like cussing.
Well, that and scathing sarcasm and just being generally belligerent (see: petulant) about the whole thing.
but whatever, it's good bandwagon toons
I feel I'm within my rights as a patron of the site, though. I'm actually in agreement with your roommate. It seems that they've geared themselves in some direction opposite of our unseemly fannish depravity, and fuck me here I am left out in the cold with no way to get my Johnny Storm/Peter Parker tagging on.
Now, actually ON the subject of fic.ticio.us, I am in love with that idea. I think I recall it, or something like it, being kicked around on a comm or two back when we were ( ... )
