Happy Avengers day

So, I can't wait for the mail to get here with the new Avengers Blu-ray.

In the meanwhile, I've been relaxing on my day off after a weekend (Sat-Mon) of crazy. Ironically, Monday turned out to be the lousiest of the three. Basically I spent all weekend having conversations like this:

Me: Your dog is improving with therapy. Plan is to run another

How could anyone do that to an animal they supposedly love? I just read two stories about cats who had homes, who were mistakenly euthanized, and I just can't imagine wanting to say goodbye to your animal if you could have more time with it. *hugs Sophie and Lloyd tightly*

I Don't even know. And usually I communicate fairly well with clients.

it was a trying day

My neighbour wanted to have her one-year-old dog euthanased because she got in trouble from the council for not registering it. Registration for a non-neutered dog is a grand total of $30 a year. Fortunately, the vets could neuter and re-home it, but I've never thought of her the same way again.

oy. Thank goodness they could help. We occasionally convince people to relinquish rather than euthanize saveable pets, but it's also a whole other can of worms...
