Happy Avengers day
So, I can't wait for the mail to get here with the new Avengers Blu-ray.
In the meanwhile, I've been relaxing on my day off after a weekend (Sat-Mon) of crazy. Ironically, Monday turned out to be the lousiest of the three. Basically I spent all weekend having conversations like this:
Me: Your dog is improving with therapy. Plan is to run another test today to find out whether the improvement will be long-term or there is more serious underlying issue.
Dog owner: We think she's old and it's time to put her to sleep.
Me: Okay. I understand. However, she is improving. It may be worth giving her another day to come around, because she could get over this.
Owner: What you're saying is that she's going to die.
Me: *headdesk* why don't you come see her first.
Owner (on visit. Dog runs out to greet them): Um. She's old. Kill her now.
While I generally don't have a problem euthanizing my patients for illness, even sometimes for financial constraints, pure convenience euth's where the owner makes up some bogus excuse and expects me to reinforce it, really really steam my noodle.
Okay. Done venting.
Day off.
Saw the first few episodes of Revolution, and yeah, I like it. Not rabidly, but enough to keep watching.
Now I've finally made a bid to-do list. Not sure I'm going to bother getting it done, but it feels good to write all the same. :)
Back to work tomorrow, then FRiday, and I'm on overnights for the rest of the weekend.
