they really really set it up so well. this makes the renewal doubly, triply excellent with the timing.
*dances*
He's definitely with mary. And they're definitely watching. And they can't come back cause they've been salted and burned. But OMG THE BOYS KNOW THEY'RE TOGETHER!!
Well, I didn't COMPLETELY call it. My theory was that Dean would sell his soul to get Sam back, but that Sam wasn't really dead (likely because of the demon blood). So Dean would have sold his soul for NOTHING! So I was a wee bit close?
Okay I'm just a random person who linked from the episode review site.. but I wanted to say.
1.Glad Ellen is alive, though at first I wasn't sure she was of the good. Did she seem a little off to anyone else? (then again, might've had something to do with losing her home, friends, livelihood, and trekking across South Dakota to boot.)
I completly agree she seemed seriously off... like I dunno I kept expecting her to turn on everyone..I don't trust her so much at the moment.
2.Is it bad that my first thought was, "oh no, now Dean's gonna be all alone in hell"?
lol. that was mine to... especially because I think Dean relised it..and the funny thing is .. I think this has allowed him to be okay with John's death, only to have to face his own (DEANNNNN), ahem though I'm happy John is with Mary now (as I have chosen to belive).
There's something about seeing such a weathered, whiskery old man break down like that and grab Dean's face like a father-- when he half wants to punch the kid for being a moron...
You know what I was thinking? He totally knew what John was doing when John sold his soul-- and totally enabled it. And so you bet he kinda feels responsible for those boys now.
I was a little worried-- not gonna lie-- that Dean's secret would fester until the next long hiatus, but OMG the relief when he let spill... That smile makes the world spin round.
Oh, god, me too! Seriously, ten minutes from the end, I was thinking, "Damn, they're going to ruin this perfectly good brilliant by not having him tell..." But then he did, and it changes the tone of EVERYTHING. Sam has a purpose! Dean's not alone with his terrible secret! They are TOGETHER. OMG SEASON THREE RIGHT NOW PLEASE.
Erm. Also VERY VERY glad they didn't kill Bobby and Ellen. The boys need those two. Yep.
YAY OUR SHOW.
(P.S. Good luck on your exam tomorrow. Just one more and then YOU WILL BE FREE.)

I sincerely hope they investigate how Mary knew the demon next season.
Oh, man. Last freaking episode of the season and they already racked up the tension for next season.
Is it September yet?

1. Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with Ellen. Now that she's pretty much lost everything and doesn't necessarily know where Jo is.
2. Oh man. You're so right about that.
