STUPIDLY LATE A-KON 23 REPORT

Sep 09, 2012 09:43

I was originally going to make one big entry to cover both A-kon AND AFest since they're both done now, but the portion about A-kon turned out so lengthy that it would be stupid to include AFest in here, too. So now this entry is just about A-kon ( Read more... )

I'm glad it went well, these "A-kon" seem to be "important" things :D.

It's true your Zelda piece is really, really beautiful, would have jumped on it if I went here (sadly, a big puddle of water separate us nevermind the earth --"). You must have felt free when you finished it XD (200 hours Oo).

I hope your mom is okay, especially if she had problems before :/.

glad to hear from you here :D

It was soooo great seeing you at A-Kon this year. I think it might have been a bit too ambitious of us to go to a friggen ginormous con after just arriving in the country the previous day.

Though, Eero is absolutely in love with the Ocarina of Time piece. He has it proudly displayed in his living room :) I wish we could have spent a little more time with you, but by then we were so jet-lagged and tired that we couldn't possibly think straight.

Good to hear your mom didn't get seriously hurt! Moms are funny that way when they get hurt they can only think about the other people who are worrying about them instead of their own possibly serious situation. Hopefully she listened to you at A-Fest.

I'm actually considering purchasing some of your stuff, but wanted to run by you about your international shipping policies. You can PM me all that info if you'd rather not here.

Yeah sooo... I was meaning to reply to this and then I forgot because things have been busy lately professionally with that design studio that hired me. Oops. At leas the busy is a good thing... from the sounds of what my art director has said, I think I'm their only illustrator and he was singing my praises to one of their clients (calling me their "girl" and saying I was good at thinking outside of the box, etc.) which is awesome. Now he's wanting to know specifics about my rates and payment schedule fees and all because he's anticipating needing me a lot within the next month and beyond. Yay ( ... )
