When I had a toddler and an infant, a snooty woman (who also had two children in daycare, as she worked outside the home) once asked me whatever did I do with my time at home? She informed me that once her children were sick, and she was forced to stay at home. She was able to clean out the closets and had nothing left to do. I just smiled and replied that when my husband returned home at the end of the day, if the house was still standing, I'd done my job. Not all children are compliant.
