I think I have a plot for the Exchange fic. Or the main, broad framework of one, anyway. I mostly know what I want to start with, what should happen, and how it should end ( Read more... )

No more icicles, sadly (or perhaps not so sadly) - it was the only icicled house we passed.

Snow!kitty was so cute! I'd have wanted to hug it. *g*

Hee! I look forward to writing it. (And will probably be ready to pull out my hair by the time I actually get around to that.)

Snowman alley! That's tremendous. The kitty is meltingly cute, as well. :D

You has plots! squeeeee! I managed to scrounge up a couple as well, today. Need to herd the thoughts, try for an outline, start seeing where they take me.

It was a lovely park alley, with lots of snowmen on both sides. :-D

Squee for the plots, indeed! And yes, outline sounds like a good idea. I should try and come up with one, too ... never done an outline before. Although I guess ordered plot points sort of count...

Snerk. I never actually do outlines as such. It's more like jotting down ideas as they come, then feverishly jotting down more ideas to assign what goes where.

An outline is just too tidy for me to manage one. ;P

Heee, I know what you mean.

We had to do an outline for the 9th grade final essay exam at school (we were supposed to have outlines for all essays, but I just skipped them because, well, how should I have known what I was going to write about until I was actually writing it? couldn't do that on the exam though, as we had to hand in the outline too), so I ended up writing the essay and then writing an outline based on what was in the essay. *sighs*

But just jotting down some of the basic ideas so I won't forget what it was that I wanted to write about is definitely a good idea.
