I haven't abandoned this journal after all! In fact I kind of missed it. My word it's been forever since I've been on here, and I kind of feel bad about it. Other than watching Youtube stuff (which I really need to do less of) I haven't been doing much Internet related stuff. Which isn't a bad thing, really, since it means getting more important

Yeah, I feel kind of bad about that since blogging isn't as time consuming as, say, spending time on Tumblr and Youtube. But I've been drifting away from quite a bit of Internet related things.

Although this also includes my Author Blog and Author Facebook page which I really need to do more with.

Nice to hear from you again hon. Sounds like you have been busy. I remember when I went to a convention that I bought a dragon shoulder pet. They went over very big so I can see you making something like that.

I'm glad your kitty is doing better. Sorry to hear you gave up writing fanfic. I'll always be a fan of your SGA stories

There's still always a chance I "might" end up writing another fanfic down the road, but thus far it does seem as though I'm pretty much out of the fanfic biz.

I found some tutorials on how to make shoulder puppet dragons and they're surprisingly not has hard to make as I thought. So time will tell if it'll be something I try. I've always loved shoulder puppets (I have three of them, one for the shoulder and two you put in your pocket).

I only have a Dragon shoulder puppet, it was the first time I had ever come across anything like that. Maybe you can post a picture of your pocket ones? The girl who made my dragon put it together while you walked around the convention so you could pick your color and stuff.

So glad both your human family member and Mitsy ended up being okay! Scares like that are awful... such a relief to come through with good news on the other side.

It's awesome that the crafting/sewing/dollmaking is still going strong. I know how frustrating it is when you're starting to get the skills and definitely have a vision for where you want to go with something like that, but just keep running into issues or can't progress as fast as you'd like to. I love how your skills are coming along, though - the faces, especially, on the ones in your Etsy shop now are just the sweetest. I hope you're able to explore some of those other areas and start broadening your products to the puppets and such as well!

Yeah, it was really starting to look like the year was trying to both end and start bad, but then changed it's mind at the last minute. It was rather odd.

I think what's been frustrating me most with the dolls is that I'll use the same method I use to make all my dolls, yet while with some dolls it works out fine, with others everything that can go wrong does wrong.
