Yay, this was great! Loved the interaction between John and Ronon, and the rock spiders and toxin were creative twists. You should somehow incorporate the toxin into another story, it sounds like an interesting (and nasty) substance. And poor John, more bugs...

Haver was a cool not-exactly-bad-guy too. He kept reminding me of Crowley on Supernatural for some reason. :)

Thanks! :D I do have a thing for toxins or poisons so expect future stories that involve some unusual form of them ;) Crowely did make for a bit of inspiration for Haver, but the majority of inspiration I got from that prison guy in Chronicles of Riddick.

Exciting and tense story! I really liked the interaction between Shep and Ronon here - very satisfying. Didn't like the spider things, because I HATE spiders! Hehe! But they really were creepy *shudders* I thought Haver was a good OC, and I really liked the pace of the story and how it kept moving forward while giving me some great character interaction too. Lovely!

Thank you :D Spiders creep me out as well. That and Sheppard's aversion to bugs is why I used them ;) I just can't give the poor boy a break :D

I really enjoyed this! :) Creative scenario, and as always in your fic, great OCs and an interesting world (loved the rock spiders and Ronon's clever method of dealing with them!).
