So the SLC was okay. It's a very pretty area with huge peaks surrounding the city almost 360 degrees. There are a ton of people packed into a fairly small area... however, due to the Olympics, their infrastructure is amazing. The Mormon Temple is impressive to see in person... especially at night. Well, I am officially hired! I start today doing some observation stuff and I will fly out of Boise on Sunday for a week long training in Salt Lake City. It's going to be a good job with excellent opportunities, so I am looking forward to getting started.

So I just got a call that moved me into the final stage of the hiring process for the job I want. It's looking good! I would be surprised if I dind't get offered the job. They actually want me to come down today for the final interview, so I will be going down in about an hour ( Read more... )

As soon as I posted yesterday I got a call that moved me on to the final step of the hiring process. I should know by this afternoon whether I get the job and I could start as early as Wednesday. My interview on Friday went well. I felt like I didn't have as much business experience as she was looking for but I ended up being moved onto step 2 of the the 3 step process. This would be a great job and I hope to get it. However, I know God has a plan and if this one doesn't work out He must have something better.

So I have been obsessed with the current season of the show '24'. I have spent the past day and a half downloading and watching all of the episodes to get caught up. Wow, what a great show. I am sure that it's extremely realistic and all but man am I caught up in it ( Read more... )

This is random. So there were hardly any new jobs posted last week at all. I logged on yesterday morning and was able to send out 5-6 more resumes. So that was encouraging. Of couse, it would be more so if any of the would CALL ME BACK.. but I am patient and I know the right job is out there.
