I have been MIA from LJ for way to long! But sometimes life just gets in the way. I go through phases of wanting to be on the computer and phases of not wanting to turn the computer on at all. Glad you're back! I was actually just thinking I hadn't seen anything from you in a while. ;) I know what you mean about not wanting to get on the computer sometimes. I'm like that, too, and can easily check out for days at a time.

So sorry to hear about how sick you've been. I like your perspective of taking the time to pause and reflect, but how nice it would be to get to do that without feeling yucky! I hope you start feeling better soon.

I love your perspective on things, and being so wise to understand that perhaps you need to stop for a bit and take in what's going on around you. And I absolutely understand that need to pull back from being so connected so much -- it really can take over if you let it, and setting those boundaries is so important, imo. Plus, those amazing inventions that you call books? They're pretty darn neat, and well worth taking time out for. So...yay!!!

Though I do miss you on here, so hope to see you more. Between books, of course! ;)
