well King Kong was much better than i expected, I assumed a 3 hour long movie would drag extraordinarily, but it never got too slow. of course, as is to be expected w/ Peter Jackson's movies, some parts were a little slow- he chooses plots (Lord of the Rings, for example) that have action sequences that easily overshadow the rest of the movie,
