Paris Day 1

We arrived by train in Paris just after 10am, then had quite a bit of difficulty locating the tourism bureau in the train station. We needed to go there to buy 5 day unlimited metro passes (they can be purchased in the vending machines too, but they'll apparently only give you the ticket, not the case with your name on it that you are legally ( Read more... )

A hotel in Paris with free wifi and large rooms? You must be paying a fortune!

hah! The rooms were actually on the small but reasonable side by American standards. The wifi was definitely an unexpected benefit and much appreciated. We only paid $94 a night after taxes for the room--note that's a dollar sign not a euro sign.
