So, dinogrl, what exactly is the correct name for that sort of finny/cresty thingy that runs along the dorsal edge of some reptile backs/tails?

(Not necesarrily dinosaurs; we know, anyway, that Conrad is a fantasy creation rather than a real dinosaur anyway)

Enquiring minds want to know...

I have absolutely no idea, since most reptiles don't have that cresty finny thing on their tails. I'm only familiar with skeletal anatomy of dinosaurs. If you find out, please let me know!

According to the Anatomy Page, Iguanas have Dorsal Spines. One could suppose this would translate to Dorsal Fins for those wot got fins instead of spines. According to the Stegosaurus Anatomy Page they are "bony plates."
