often gd and top are written in fic as having a cats-and-dogs relationship where they fight regularly. i think this has a lot to do with their personalities. top is a lot more laid back and in-his-own-head type of person, whereas gd likes to have control over things down to the smallest detail. they both want things to be perfect, but gd's always been that way while it seems to have been a gradual realization for top. that would most likely bleed into their personal life, because while top says he doesn't get affected much by relationships and getting dumped, gd is described by his friends/people in yg family as being very emotional
