Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. I had this weird, stupid, determination to not cry while reading this but even after stopping halfway, laughing for an hour straight, and then coming back to finish, I still ended up crying because Kyuhyun ;~~~~~~~;
I... feel like there's so much I want to say but I can't, because I'm still a little overwhelmed by it all. And idk but I'm so glad that in the end things look hopeful and sklgjsdklgsdgs.
Just going to be crying over here and putting my heart together okay.

You painted a really realistic picture with how Kyuhyun was in the arm and he's reaction to Jaewha, and I like that! I know that you might get some slack for putting an original character in, but there is no other way to make this work, so I applaud you for that. This was paced really well, the writing is really good and I enjoyed your characterisations of everyone :) All in all, I really enjoyed this ♥

i loved how you alternated between flashbacks of kyuhyun in the army with jaewha and the present action, and how, little by little, everything falls into place.
the pace was good, not too fast, not too slow, and i liked how other suju members fit in the story as well. also the story seemed quite realistic to me, and that's always a plus.
good job! :D

“By living,” Sungmin says.
Kyuhyun sort of wants to punch him.
it makes me wonder if you were really focused on his characterization here, because he's described so perfectly to me idk. like i've always thought of kyuhyun as someone who confronts sap and truth and serious business awkwardly (i'm probably the only one who sees him as this), so he has his own way of handling it and showing that he does get the message. and after i finished reading that part, i thought it was really beautiful.

i had a bit of a quibble regarding the gun and shooting? since i had somehow been under the impression that jaewha had been killed in action, because the likelihood of getting jailed for homosexuality? high. but getting shot in the streets of seoul for it? mmmm.
regardless, i adored this. it all worked so well for me, and i'm so glad i was linked here. i really hope i get to find out who wrote this.
