Ah, that was delightful, thank you so much for writing this!
The writing is lovely and concise, you covered so much in such a small amount of words. The scene where Kyuhyun tries to close the window, and then the parrot flies to him... that was so touching and profound ^^
The original story is pretty much all about Changmin's guilt, and so it's kinda depressing, but by making it about Kyuhyun's recovery and personal growth you turned it into something uplifting and beautiful...
