“Okay so tell me again why we’re celebrating here of all places,” Myungsoo queried before downing his nth shot of whatever it had been that Dongwoo had poured him.

“I think the alcohol’s gone to your head because it was you who suggested it, Soo yah,” Dongwoo giggled before forgoing the glass entirely and taking a drink straight from the bottle. “It was something about the musical going off without a hitch and us celebrating since we don’t have to deal with Choi Songsaengnim’s dictatorship that he called rehearsals,” he rambled. Holding up the bottle and shaking it, Dongwoo narrowed his eyes at it before finishing it off and motioning for another. “More please, Yeollie.”

“Yah!” the tall brunet shouted. “Why should I? I’m not your servant you brat.”

Myungsoo just snickered as he pointed his unfortunately empty glass at Sungyeol. “How about because the bottles’re right next to you and not him. Do you really want the drunk wonder here to get up and get it himself?”

Sungyeol just laughed before rolling another bottle toward Dongwoo who happily accepted it with a bright grin. “True enough. Knowing him when drunk, he’d probably fall over and crack his head open or something.” Pausing, his smile grew wicked. “Though he’s still better than you, who does that sober.”

“So are we just going to drink for this celebratory thing or are we gonna do anything else?” Dongwoo asked before letting out a shriek of surprise. Reaching into his pocket to pull out his cell phone, he dropped it twice before managing to look at the caller ID. “HOYA!” He yelled into the phone as he answered.

Sungyeol and Myungsoo had to laugh as Dongwoo very loudly explained where they were and what they were doing, complete with large single arm motions and rolling on the floor in excitement. A few more minutes passed while he spoke before hanging up and looking at the others, smile blinding.

“Hoya, Hyun, and Gyu hyung are all on their ways. Jongie can’t because he’s apparently too busy to get shitfaced with us,” Dongwoo explained, ending on a pout.

“Maybe that’s because the last time he drank with us, someonecurled up in his lap and was convinced that Jong was the love of his life,” Sungyeol commented with a hard stare toward Myungsoo, who simply shrugged his shoulders.

“Yeah and? I did that to you, too remember? And I think I might have proposed to Gyu hyung once…” Myungsoo spoke up nonchalantly.

Dongwoo chose then to pipe up, hand raised in the air. “Don’t forget about the fact that you always try to make out with me.”

Finishing off the bottle in his hand, Sungyeol reached out and snatched the already open bottle from Dongwoo and poured himself a glass. “Yet another thing he also does while sober.”

“Oh fuck you,” Myungsoo grumbled before taking the bottle back. “So what do we do before the others get here? I mean, we could sit here and keep drinking, but Dongwoo hyung’s already smashed.”

“Not!” Dongwoo protested before taking the bottle and bringing it to his lips. “You guys just aren’t drunk enough so I look smashed in comparison. I mean, I can still speak co-“ He paused to blink. “Um, cohe…cohesedly? No…cohesively? That’s a word, right?”

“Yeah, just not the right one,” Sungyeol snickered, yelping at the foot connecting with his shin. Moving out of Dongwoo’s kicking range, he continued. “Plus you’ve been slurring for the last half hour.”

The blond just pouted. “I second Myungsoo’s ‘fuck you’, you bastard…”

“Anyway, how about truth or dare?” Myungsoo suggested.

Sungyeol just lifted a brow at that. “What are we, twelve?”

Myungsoo just mirrored the look. “No, we’re drunk and we don’t have a deck of cards or I’d suggest a few drinking games. Now do you have a better idea?”

Grumbling, Sungyeol grabbed one of the other bottles and opened it. “I definitely need to be more drunk for this.” He looked between the two of them before pointing at Dongwoo who just looked back at him over the top of the bottle he had to his lips, eyes wide and glazed over. “Truth or dare?”

“Dare!” Dongwoo explained with a grin.

Looking around the room, Sungyeol’s eyes fell on the closet in the back corner of the room. Grinning mischievously, he turned back to Dongwoo. Myungsoo noticed the look and sighed. He didn’t even consider the fact that booze would make the already evil Sungyeol even moreso.

“I dare you to wear DaHye noona’s dress from the musical; wig and all,” he declared.

Dongwoo choked on the drink he had been taking. After a moment of coughing, he looked at his dongsaeng with flushed cheeks. “Um, is it too late to choose truth?”

“Yes,” they both replied.

Pouting, Dongwoo managed to stagger to his feet and weave his way toward the costume closet. It wasn’t long after he entered that the door opened again, and both Myungsoo and Sungyeol just stared. Dongwoo stood in the doorway, one hand playing with the ends of the long chestnut curls of the wig and the other tugging at the end of the much too short black cocktail dress.

“Well this is awkward,” Myungsoo said quietly, clearing his throat and hoping that his blush had everything to do with the alcohol and nothing to do with the legs that he couldn’t stop staring at.

“And unexpected. Jang Dongwoo why the hell are you hotter than Dahye noona?!” Sungyeol shouted, face matching Myungsoo’s.

Dongwoo let out a whine of embarrassment before he began fidgeting. “I don’t know how to sit in this thing. How do girls do it?” he muttered as he slowly eased himself to the floor, grabbing Sungyeol’s discarded overshirt and draping it across his lap. “Myungsoo, truth or dare, and give me that bottle.”

Handing over the bottle, Myungsoo thought for a minute and decided to play it safe. “Truth.”

“Um…” After a minute of thought, Dongwoo’s alcohol muddled mind came up with something. “Are the rumors about Kim Yerim and you getting caught in the small gym true or not?”

Myungsoo paused before grabbing a bottle of his own. Opening it, he took a large swig, grimacing before he answered. “Half and half. We did get caught, but it wasn’t in the gym; it was the spare music room.”

“Dude, you got a pair to go after that girl, let alone have sex in such an open place,” Sungyeol laughed.

“When was the last time anyone ever used that room anyway? We thought it was safe. The last thing we expected was for the main room’s piano to go out of tune…”

The three went on for a few more turns each, involving one kiss (“Why am I always the target of these dares?!” Dongwoo wailed after Myungsoo laid one on him), a drunken confession (“Kkotip noona, will you marry me please?” Myungsoo and Dongwoo cracked up when they heard the woman scream at him), and a few more questions that they all swore would never leave the room.

“Truth or dare, Yeollie?” Myungsoo slurred.

“Dare.”

By that point, none of them were sober enough to come up with anything good. “Do a handstand and hold it for one minute,” Myungsoo challenged.

“But I don’t know how to do a handstand!” Sungyeol protested, waving his hands in front of him.

“It’s easy,” Dongwoo assured, and by some miracle-maybe instinctual dancer’s grace channeled into gymnastics-he easily did a handstand, smile still big on his face. “If I can do it completely hammered, I’m sure you can do it somewhat drunk.”

With a sigh and a few more grumbling complaints, Sungyeol got to his feet. Rotating his shoulders and taking a steadying breath, Sungyeol mimicked Dongwoo. It took maybe half a dozen tries and Dongwoo’s help before he managed it and when he was stable enough, he began laughing.

“Oh my god I’m doing a handstand!” Sungyeol yelled excitedly, smile nearly rivaling Dongwoo’s. “I’m doing a fucking handstand, how awesome is that?! I’ve never done one befo-oh shit I’m falling!” he suddenly shrieked as he felt himself tip forward. He managed to walk on his hands in an attempt to regain his balance, but in the end still fell forward. As he was falling however, he felt his foot hit something but was too busy trying not to faceplant to notice what it was.

Suddenly, before he could even process what was going on, the tall brunet was no longer falling. Everything was silent save for the sound of a somewhat shrill jangling and Sungyeol tipped his head to take a peek.

“Fucking seriously?!” he suddenly cried out, which seemed to be all that Dongwoo and Myungsoo needed before they both completely lost it. “Why are you two laughing?! This is not funny!!!”

Sungyeol watched as the two practically fell over each other in hysterics, Myungsoo pointing upward Sungyeol’s ankle.

“You’re practically hanging upside down because your foot is caught on a fake chandelier! How is that not funny?!”

“Oh my god I think I broke something,” Dongwoo gasped through his laughter, clutching his stomach.

Tugging on his leg and almost losing what precarious balance he had at the moment, Sungyeol began shrieking. “Stop laughing and get me down! All the blood is rushing to my head you guys!” That only seemed to set off another chain of laughter.

“Myung Myung Myung! Is your camera still in your car?” Dongwoo shouted suddenly.

“No, home. We have our phones though,” Myungsoo said with a grin and a moment later, the two were snapping pictures.

“Okay you two had your fun now get me down from here!” he screeched.

Realizing that Sungyeol would most likely murder them once he was released (or regained consciousness after passing out; whichever happened first), the pair got to their feet and ran for the door. They had just closed it and turned around only to crash into Hoya who had just arrived.

“What the hell is going on in there and who’s the girl?” Hoya asked before blinking once he got a better look at ‘her’. “Dongwoo?!”

“Long story, hyung,” Myungsoo blurted out. “We need to find something first though.”

“Yeah because I’m way too young to die,” Dongwoo added before letting out a strangled yelp as he was pulled down the hall by Myungsoo.

Watching the two tear down the hallway and accidentally getting a flash of the boxer briefs Dongwoo was wearing under the dress, Hoya just shook his head and opened the door.

“Nice of you to finally show up, now can you please get me down?” Sungyeol practical begged once he saw the older boy in the doorway.

Hoya let out a quiet snicker before he burst out laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation. He leaned back against the wall and slid to the ground, unable to stop laughing with Sungyeol screaming obscenities at him as he swung back and forth slightly.

Not even a minute later, Woohyun walked in with Sunggyu right behind him, though they were both looking behind them and not into the room.

“Anyone know why Dongwoo’s in drag and why they’re looking for wire cutters?” Woohyun asked before turning around and freezing at the sight.

“Wow.”
