Well I just got the rest of my fic mapped out, and it's fairly standard imo, so it shouldn't take me too long to finish the actual writing phase, but then I have to deal with editing. Which should be interesting. 8D But yeah. I hope the end of this week, saying I don't get this job I' interviewing for tomorrow. That may push things back a bit.

Seems like you and I write the same way - reading/editing, and long breaks. LOL. Not the recommended way, maybe, but whatever. I don't write that much so it works for me.
Literally every time I'm working on something, there is a point when I read it and think: 'Shit, this is horrible.' At which point I take another break and let it kinda roll around in my head, until something clicks, and then I come back to it - because nothing works less for me than sitting and reading-rereading stuff that I think sucks. The clicking seems to happen either right before I fall asleep or right after I wake up... leading me to think that perhaps my problem is thinking TOO MUCH about it?? I dunno. Either way, I hope you're able to fix your story and work it out. :)

Thanks for the adding, I'm honoured. I hope you like my fic! Due to some helpful inspiration from the beta, I might have it finished quite soon. But there will be bouts of thinking too much. It happens with we writery folk.
Yay for writing!
