But I take large breaks in between my writing sessions, because my writing sessions are also my editing sessions, as I edit while I write. So taking steps back always helps me to look at my piece semi-objectively, realise this or that part is crap, and desire to fix it, thereby also getting me into the 'writing mood.'
Now, I know this is pretty much the exact opposite of how you're supposed to go about writing in terms of everything I've ever learned from all those writing classes, but I'm not a professional writer, and it's not my job to sit at a desk and write for 8 hours a day. I'm a recreational writer and this is my first time writing anything to be posted on the Internet, for fellow fanpeople to possibly love or hate.
That being said, I've taken a break long enough to realise it's all crap. So I'm not sure what to do about that, because some of it doesn't make any goddamn sense (or less sense than the rest of it), and the logistics are sketchy.
Ok, just changed an injury to make more sense. Hoorah editing!
But I still feel like it's all crap. I at least need one more scene, possibly some sex afterwards, and maybe a second beta. I'm not sure yet.
