You already know how much I love this line, but it bears repeating. I find it really intriguing (yet fitting) that Nash has such a poor understanding of addiction. It's sort of sweet how simple he thinks it will be, but also interesting in light of his relationship with Dom, which definitely mirrors the negative qualities of addiction. He just keeps going back, no matter how he gets hurt. If only Nash had someone willing to pull him out. DDDDD:
Another favorite line, regarding Nash's hand: the one he’d used to sketch out all his blueprints, the one Dom had held the first time they walked out into the public as a couple, the one that shook as he poured all the expensive aged bottles of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch down the drainFUCK I LOVE THOSE LINES. He ran his fingers over Nash’s tousled brown locks, down to personally rub at each scar, tenderly… lovingly, as if to pay homage to his own handiwork, like it made him proud in some perverse way to see Nash bear his badges of honor. <--I adore this, especially.
Also, A+ reference to retinal detachment, hahahaha. :D
Nash seems so selfless here, poor bb. Like he is dying for Cobb's sins--Nash, darling, I think I may start mistaking you for Jesus! But I bet even the Good Lord didn't turn all those lovely colors up there on Calvary. :3
I love how descriptive you are with Nash's thoughts-- I can just about feel Angry Cobb's hands around my neck. I feel like this was a welcome-back-to-cyberspace present just for me. <3
