You already know how much I love this line, but it bears repeating. I find it really intriguing (yet fitting) that Nash has such a poor understanding of addiction. It's sort of sweet how simple he thinks it will be, but also interesting in light of his relationship with Dom, which definitely mirrors the negative qualities of addiction. He just keeps going back, no matter how he gets hurt. If only Nash had someone willing to pull him out. DDDDD:
Another favorite line, regarding Nash's hand: the one he’d used to sketch out all his blueprints, the one Dom had held the first time they walked out into the public as a couple, the one that shook as he poured all the expensive aged bottles of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch down the drain
FUCK I LOVE THOSE LINES. I CANNOT TELL YOU THAT ENOUGH. I want to go curl up in these lines and just stay there. The little glimpse you give of when times were better makes all the rest of it seem that much worse. It's a horrible thing you do to me, AND YET I DO NOT HAVE THE SENSE TO WALK AWAY.
This is great and as an accompaniment piece it's just perfect. And, hey, we could probably all use a break from Cobb and Nash having a functional relationship for once! IT'S JUST UNNATURAL. :-p

Call me cruel, but nostalgia is my weapon of choice for heart destruction. >:D
Seriously, functional relationships are so '87.
Endless thanks for your help! :D
