Today's sewing? I cut out two petticoat panels. But I had to pull a thread because the linen was too thick to tear! I hate pulling threads!

Anyway :)

sarahnucci and I saw Amazing Grace today and enjoyed it because it actually had, you know a plot. And quite nice costumes, even if they were horribly confused as to which year it was. And the older woman ( Read more... )

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought the costumes didn't exactly fit the period! :) But as you said, pretty!

I love Amazing Grace! But I was confused by the costumes. My first though was "OOOOO! I *need* that hat!" Then I thought, "But wait, what year is this?" ;) I kept pointing things out to my friend. I bet I was annoying. ;)
